Old Town – a district of Częstochowa located in the eastern part of the city center, on the left bank of the Warta river. During World War II, there was a ghetto there. Only a part of the district constitutes the historic Old Town of medieval origin. It includes a part of the Najświętszej Maryi Panny avenue (I alley) and Daszyńskiego square. The most impressive building is the Cathedral of the Holy Family.
